SDG 2: ZERO HUNGER
(THE ZERO TO HERO ALLEVIATION SCHEME)

Ending hunger, achieving food security, and promoting sustainable agriculture.

Malnutrition and poor feeding continue to be the world’s most deadly challenge and pose a serious health risk, remaining the leading factor of child mortality. Women and children in communities are most susceptible to extreme hunger, and it's our burning passion to make sure that they are well-nourished and provided with food support.

According to the World Food Program, 135 million women and children suffer from acute hunger largely due to man-made conflicts and economic downturns, with more than a quarter of a billion people potentially at the brink of starvation.

Over the years, we have assisted targeted children and their families from selected communities with foodstuffs, cooked meals, toiletries, and grocery vouchers, especially in communities where these amenities are limited. We have also brought smiles to the faces of orphaned children who have only their caretakers to look up to.

THE SDG-2 WORK PLAN

Our goal is to support small-scale farmers in selected communities, which we have been able to reach out to with agricultural technology, financial assistance, and enlightenment to increase agricultural productivity and sustainable food production. We believe this will help alleviate the pangs and detriments of hunger.

Also, we have an ongoing foodstuffs and voucher plan, where certain amounts are given to individuals and families to support their feeding and grocery needs from time to time.
